What types of events do you do?
Weddings, sweet 16s, birthdays, private parties, school events, and corporate events — plus full corporate A/V support when needed.
What’s included in your “Starting at $850” price?
Starting pricing reflects base coverage. Base coverage consists of a basic sound system, one person DJ/MC, and an illuminated facade/frontboard. Final pricing depends on event type, hours, location, and production needs (DJ/MC, lighting, photo booth, ceremony audio, and corporate A/V).
Do you take requests and follow a “Do Not Play” list?
Unless otherwise requested by the client, yes. We encourage requests and we always respect your Do Not Play list.
Can you provide ceremony audio (wireless mics + speakers)?
Yes — we can cover ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception with clean, professional audio.
Do you MC / make announcements?
Yes. We provide confident, professional mic work — from simple announcements to fully guided formalities.
Do you offer lighting and add-ons?
Yes. Intelligent dancefloor lighting, uplighting, photo booth options, and more. We’ll recommend what fits your room and vibe.
Do you carry backup equipment?
Always. We bring backup gear and redundancy for the key parts of the system.
Are you insured?
Yes — fully insured. Certificates can be provided upon request.
How far in advance should we book?
Popular dates go fast. If your date is within the next few months, reach out ASAP to confirm availability.
How do we lock in a date?

Our History

ABOUT JOSEPH “JO FLASH” ORLANDO
Joseph Orlando is a New York City–based DJ, MC, and event production professional known artistically as Jo Flash and as a founding force behind The New York Hitmen.
With roots in music that go back to childhood, Joseph views music as more than entertainment—he calls it universal therapy, and that belief has shaped a career built on creating unforgettable experiences and bringing people together through sound, energy, and precision.
His professional journey began in 1990 on WKRB-FM 90.9 in Brooklyn, where he developed his on-air presence and sharpened his ability to read a room. After two years in radio, Joseph earned a role at MTV in Talent Relations, working alongside celebrities and executives—an experience that refined his professionalism and raised his standard for performance and production.
From there, he transitioned into the club scene and beyond, performing at notable venues including PACHA NYC (Residency), Crobar NYC, and venues in Las Vegas.
Today, through Orlando Event Services, Joseph brings that same level of detail and energy to weddings, private celebrations, and corporate events—delivering polished MC work, smart music programming, and professional corporate A/V support.
